When looking for stupid celebrities, one only needs to go as far as Nicole Richie. This girl is the epitome of stupid is as stupid does. With not one but two DUI arrests under her belt she seems to be a slow learner. What amazes most of us is that she has catapulted into stardom because of her stupidity, making it to the stupid celebrities list in record time. This proves that the American population likes to see stupid people more mentally challenged than they are.

On her most recent trip to the slammer that has been frequented by other famous celebrities, Richie was stopped on the highway going the wrong way. Guess those oncoming headlights weren't a deterrent after all. On top of this, she was in the carpool lane and was riding by herself. The voices in your head don't count as passengers, Nicole. She admitted to taking pain medication and smoking marijuana. However, she was not under the influence of alcohol which other famous celebrities are continuously getting caught doing. When police approached her vehicle, she was on her cell phone. Not a good idea to be contacting your dealer when the police are actually on the scene. Then again, she could have been contacting her driver. This means that pot really does make you hallucinate and time to stand still. Her previous run in with the fuzz had her in possession of heroin. Some people never learn.

After being ordered to driving school as punishment for her crime, Ms. Richie arrived in style. She was driving herself. Wouldn't this have been one time you would have called the driver to bring you? She then covered her face while entering the school. No one, of course, knew it was her. Nor was she spotted going into the jail that night.

Richie costarred with Paris Hilton in a forgettable television sitcom promoting the ignorance of poor little rich girls. Ironically, it aired for more than one season since stupid people found something they could relate with. In the program, the girls are suited to everyday jobs and lifestyles of John Q. Public. They are seen making fun of everyone and everything that isn't "hot". Richie is even quoted as saying, "When we worked at Sonic...this fast food place,". Oh, you probably needed her to clarify that little point for you, so you wouldn't confuse it with the other Sonic restaurant of fine dining that famous celebrities go to.

Ms. Richie has also been quoted as saying, "Just so you know, I'm black. So, this is from my roots." She doesn't know what her original hair color is much less her ancestry. For the record, being adopted by a black man doesn't make you African American. If that was the case, Kelly Osbourne should be a foul-mouthed, maniacal musician with a penchant for the out of the ordinary. Well, that's a bad example, but you can draw your own conclusions.
